export lights
if so its my understanding that they come with h4 bulbs
so what has to be done to hook them up to the factory wires
also how much of an improvement is it in light output in both the standard wattage and high wattage versions
want to get the upgraded wiring harness from daniel stern and can get the gm lights for 72 bucks apiece but reluctant to do so (have yet to see anyone that has bought the kit) dont want to waste the money if they are not worth it
im going from an altima with hids so you can imagine night driving is a chore in a stock pi$$ yellow powered halogen housing
aftermarket hid is not an option either
so if someone has the export lights please enlighten me (no pun intended)

I have PIAA 1100X Driving lights which helped the stock lights a little but finally I had enough, I wanted good lights. I got the Complete High Wattage Kit, that included a plug and play wiring harness and PIAA 90/135W H4 Bulbs.
These things are awesome, when they are on low beam and I turn on the driving lights, it makes no improvement.
As far as I know the Factory Wattage Kit includes an adaptor to connect the factory wires to the H4 bulb.
I have never seen the factore wattage exports but I'm glad I paid the extra for the high wattage kit.

Now, the fun with H4 headlights is the possibility of running ungodly wattage bulbs, but they need upgraded wiring harness. Rallylights.com or danielsternlighting.com can give you the schematics if you want to create one yourself. Make sure you have 30-amp Hella or Bosch relays (2 are bare minimum, but 3 relays maybe the ideal), some nice and fat wires, high capacity fuse holders and nice connectors.
The logic behind the upgraded harness is to lose voltage as little as possible. You will be amazed at the light output from high quality 80/100w H4 bulbs that get healthy voltage from the battery. Even on stock-wattage (55/65w) bulbs. 90/135w will be the highest I will go if you are concerned with lifespan. 100/170w and 135/180w are damn f-in nice but their lifespans are only several hundreds hours

Another note, going with T84 headlights are not just about being able to stuff high wattage bulbs. You will appreciate the light pattern that they produce, very sharp cutoff that looks like this __/ __/ which means they light up the side of the road very well (signs, parked cars, other landmarks/signs) but they are not blinding to the oncoming traffic, granted that they are properly aimed.
