I picked my car up yesterday after having the FAST 90mm intake and the Nick Williams 90mm TB installed. The final tune yielded 469.9rwhp and 420.4 rwtq (on the 4.10 gears). On one pull, the car made 472 rwhp but the torque went down while on another pull the car made 427 rwtq but the rwhp went down to 465. So, the final tune was a "compromise" in between. This is still a gain of nearly 20 rwhp and 10 rwtq from the stock intake and throttle body. The nice aspect is that the torque curve is fairly flat from 4500-6000 rpm.
I think I'm done for now. The only other thing I could do is have the heads milled more to raise the compression significantly. This would then lead to forging the bottom end and probably having to mix in race gas or some additives to bump the octane. But I'm not sure I'd want to go that route. More than likely, I'd just go "bigger" on the motor. Of course, that just means more "Benjamin$" for the tuner.
The car seems to drive very similar to before these mods, but we shall see how it behaves from a "very cold" start later this month or in January. That will be the true test.
I think you are next, at least that's what Chris says.
Yeah, we've been talking about it, but I'm not sure I want to get into the slippery slope of having to get into the drivetrain next. It gets expensive and intensive, as I'm sure you know.
Nice numbers, could you feel a SOTP difference? Did torque drop off on the lower rpm's, this is always something i've wondered with the 90mm set-up. Have a good one and thanks again for the call, it opened my eyes to a few things.

As far as SOTP, I really won't know until I get my CCW drag package back on. Around the street, the F1's just are useless, as they were prior to this install. It does pull like a train.
The torque feels fine in the low RPM ranges. Most have suggested that this 90/90 combo works only for big blocks. I'd argue that with appropriate tuning, the 346 will respond as well.
