i was recently on daniel stern lighting's website and have to say there are a lot of useful things on there if you have the time to read the one about aiming the headlights procedure i find very useful
also they have an upgraded wiring harness for our cars that will retain the factory bulbs but make them brighter through the use of relays
as well as an upgraded harness to run the euro spec h4 lights with the glass lenses
disclaimer b4 someone accuses me of it : (seen others get accused of it)
i am in no way trying to promote this mans products nor have any affiliation with him just thought everyone hear might want to do something about the $hitty lights we have or at least aim them properly
D.S. is totally correct. I have used Eurospec lamps with 130/90 watt H4s in every car I have ever had from 1971 onwards. These lamps have outstanding beam shape and control of where thr light actually goes. I just looked extensively at HID projector/bulbs and after much research I found that my trusty hi-watt H4s have more lumens than the HID bulbs and guess what.....I'm ordering the GM Eurospec lamps this week, and already have the relays and 130/90 hiwatt H4 bulbs in the shop. The hardest part of driving my C5, which I've only had for a week, is the crappy night lighting....on the way to being fixed. My suggestion to other forum members...Don't waste your $$ on HIDs unless you need them as a fashion statement.

click on 'corvette parts'
click on thumbnail pix of the C5 front fascia....Look at the driving lamps in the 'license plate' hole!
This site has better illustrations of Cibie products than does Daniel Stern, but D.S. has better, MUCH better instructional/informational text.
Usual disclaimer, no relation to this website, but have purchased from these guys in the past.
