Default Replace MSD Plug Wires, Do they go right in as is?

My Plug Wires are cut, well one is. If I buy MSD Wires are they ready to plug in just like stock?

I saw in a post in another car forum that they had to measure the wires and crimp the part that goes on the actual spark plug. Is this correct?

I was hoping for just plug n go.

Please let me know

Thanks

I have these wires on my car and they just plug right in without any adjustment required.

Just replaced stock wires with MSD's this weekend.
Smoothed out the idle.
Fit same as stock and you can even reuse the stock boot shields.
FYI, all eight plug wires are exactly the same length.

Do I need to reuse the stock boot shields? I got the impression from MSD that this wasn't necessary.

No, you dont have to, but there is no reason not to. Plenty of room either way. You'll see.

Thanks for the reply.

So there is no damage to the wire if the shields aren't in place? but, probably over a period of time, heat is unlikely to be a friend to the insulation on the wires?

The plugs I removed were really brown. Is this a result of low air/fuel ratio (too rich)? I noticed an amazing smoothing of the idle when I put this set of MSD wires and V copper plugs in.
