Default DTE HP Differential Christmas GP>>>

Ho! Ho! Ho!

We have received numerous emails and phone calls lately requesting that DTE again host a GP for our successful HD differentials, soooo......as a gesture of our appreciation for your business this past year and just because it's Christmas...we are again hosting a DTE HP Differential GP for those folks on the Corvette Forum who wish to participate. This season's GP will be hosted in the same manner as we've done in the past so that everyone will ample time to place an order before the holiday season ends.

We will be running this GP special from 12/7 until 12/24 and 10 participants are required to receive the special pricing offered. Prices will be adjusted accordingly if minimum participant requirement isn't met. This offer is for shipped-in differentials only and each completed unit comes with a written 2yr./24,000 mile warranty, break-in/filling instructions AND the necessary lubricants to complete your installation.

Each completed unit will be shipped back to you in a protective plastic shell in tandem with a wooden case-fin protection strut to help prevent damage during shipping and full replacement insurance is also included in all outgoing shipments. We accept both 2 or 3-series differentials for the build upgrade and any additional internal hard parts that are damaged or broken other than normal wearing items will be additional and invoiced separately for each individual. Build time is 3-5 business days from time of delivery to DTE and each unit will be built in consecutive order as they arrive after the two week GP sign-up period has ended. GP participation payment due at time of order to secure your position and a 10% processing fee is assessed for cancellations after order is secured.

NOTE: The 3.73 ratio gear set is on manufacturer backorder, so please exclude this ratio from choice. If anything changes, the C.F. will be notified promptly. Right output shafts not available for this GP at this time.

This year we have added additional HD components and services that are exclusive to DTE-built differentials and NO OTHER builder includes these items as standard equipment at no extra charge as DTE does! These additional durability enhancing items are highlighted in black in the differential build details and as always, each unit is hand-built/blueprinted to our own proprietary HP specs.

The brackets for the A4 diferential strut are scheduled to arrive here from the laser cutter Thursday and we'll be shipping to our customers next week starting with our waiting list customers first and so on... The price is still $379, but this topic is for another thread...

DTE

According to your ad it appears that the only difference between Stage I and Stage II is the hardened output shaft. Is this true?
It is confusing since the price difference is $400 and the cost of the shaft is $349?

The website is outdated and scheduled for a major upgrade at the first of the year. There are indeed other internal proprietary improvements implemented to the Stage II version that enhances durability over the Stage I, which account for the difference.

No special offers for the Stage III, as that is a completely different animal altogether.

Are those outright prices? What are you offering for customer units as an exchange? Any installation tips especially for those who haven't done it before? Is horsepower level the sole criterion for which level to purchase? If so what is it?

As stated in the first post, these prices are only for sent-in differentials to be built by DTE- i.e. you send a either a 2 or 3 series differential in to us to be built and DTE sends it back to you when its completed. No exchanges or outright purchases for this special offer at this time.

We suggest taking a look at Mike Mercury's or Dope's webpage for installation tips. Many of the members here have used their installation instructions as a guideline in the past with very good success and I'm sure one of them can post a link to their website for you. Dope? Mike?
