So I was cutting my bushings to lower my car today and I stripped one of my ball joint threads.
The ball joints don't appear to be servicable, so it looks like I'm in for new control arms. Might as well do both at the same time.
What's different about T1 arms? Just stiffer bushings? Does anyone have them? Anything to note? Direct bolt-on? Do they require anything else? Do they come with the ball-joints installed like the stockers?
They don't seem much more expensive so I might as well upgrade as long as they bolt right in and won't give me automatic -5 degrees camber
Correct, just the same but with stiffer bushings. I have them with the rest of the T1 suspension. Hard to say home much difference they make by themselves as I have the whole system. I've replaced them myself before. Direct bolt in replacement of the stock ones (which are essentially identical to the eye). Nothing special about it.
