Dry kits for C5??
Are there any any pros or cons to using a dry kit on a c5?
Most of the kits out their are wet.
Nos and nx make a dry kit, but was wondering if anyone has taken zex's universal kit and used it on their car. The zex kits are dirt cheap..They also look really easy to use. Doesnt the nozzle to the dry kit just install right after the maf..I was going to have my friend fab a plate for the back end of the maf that houses the nitrous nozzle.
There is also a kit out there by venom performance that is computer controlled. Their kit requires you to have a fuel return line...Do our cars have one? And if they dont, is it easy to put one on without making it permanent(dont want dealer to know it was ever on if I dont Have to)
Also...i have a 99 c5 with a 6 speed tranny. All stock with borla straight pipes. What is the biggest shot of nitrous I can use without having to change injectors, fuel pump, etc. Also..will the stock tranny and zo5 upgraded clutch hold up?
Also..Any guys make their own kits cheap..What is needed.
