Manual 6 speed leaking fluid? It there a TSB for the fix?
Its leaking where the differetial meets the trans-- Could
be output shaft seal of the trans. Any one else had this problem?

I have heard lots of people have problem with the rear seal leaking. It is very common. Yesterday I was under my car and keeping my fingers crossed - no leaks.
I do not believe it is covered under a Recall so I hope that you still have your warranty...
I found this on the WEB looking under rear seal leak C5
The dealer finally told me that they did some research on my car (2001 zo6) & came up with a TSB stating that there are burrs sometimes found on the housing where the seal sits.
Search the threads you should find more info...

Yes, My 02 started leaking at 900 mi.,the dealer replaced the output shaft seal twice before it stopped. not sure if there is a TSB on this.
If there is a TSB on the leaking trannys because of burrs found which are ruining the seals, shouldn't this defect be covered by chevrolet/GM as a defect? My tranny is leaking ,non daily driver and after only 35k miles I strongly feel that GM's Flagship should not have this fauit occuring. Can anyone let me know if there is a TSB then will they fix it at no charge ??
After opening up my tranny, I am fairly confident that the leaking is the seal between the main part of the tranny and the rear smaller part of the tranny (which is basically RTV). I'll take a picture. Mine didnt seem to be leaking from the input shaft. And it probably isnt leaking from the output shaft if you dont have gear oil from the diffy mixed in.

This was my problem as well - not the output shaft seal. Had Cartek fix it - according to them it is a fairly common problem. Unfortunately you need to drop the trans to fix it right.
The only leak I seem to be noticing on my '99 FRC is the left axle seal - and it's obvious. No other leaks from the trans at all - I'm crossing my fingers hoping it will stay that way!
