Default rattle

does anyone know what might cause a rattle noise right under window controls on door. rattle is only there when speaker is on, especially base. 100% sure it is not a blown speaker. problem started after dealer pulled door apart to fix weather strip for rag-top.

it could be many things might be the speaker grills
it could be the plastic clips that hold the door panel in as well
could be a cluster of wires rubbing when the bass hits
go to this website if you dont know how to take the door panels off
http://www.spdkilz.com/techtipfrontspeaker.html

i just fixed mine today as mine rattled with bass as well
not sure what the problem was but its fixed now
this is what i did
the speaker grille is held in place with bent portions of the grille throught the door panel bend them straight and push the grill form the front of the door panel to the inside and bend the tabs back down while holding tension on the grille
also the wire harness that plugs in the speaker could possibly rest on the door panel possibly causing a rattle
i simply tie wrap the harness to the rest of them in the door after i reconnected the speaker
lastly the white clips that stay attached to the door panel werent all tight meaning i could move them up or down or left to right a little with no effort
i pulled the clips out and added a little electrical tape to the head of the clip and reinstalled in the door panel
this seemed to be my problem as two of the clips were loose
and my door panel still rattled before i did this to them
while you got the door panel off go ahead and do it unless you want to take it off twice like i had to today

Could also be the Bose emblems. It's symbolic of the quality of their components!

I have that problem and mine is the Bose emblems. I think I am going to take the door panels of and glue the emblem tabs to the grills.
