LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON "TIPS"...
Was looking for you guys to give me your 2-cents worth on tips. I am looking for something that shines up nice and looks great. Anyone that could tell me what they have, size, brand, and who makes/sells them it would be appreciated. A photo would be helpfull too !!

I got a cheap stainless set off e-bay, they look great and cost 40 bucks. Compared to some tips I have seen for almost $200

I have OEM ones, thanks to a forum member who gave me their stock exhaust. I have heard that the made in china OEM knock offs have poor welds that may fail over time. Probbaly not much of an issue if you only drive when sunny, but for a DD the tabs may eventually fail.

They are very good quality, and backed by a lifetime guarantee. A lot of tips on the market tend to break their clips and need to either be replaced or welded. I've had these on for 4 years and look as good as the day I got them.

There are not many options as far as tips go. Not many are sold separate from the exhaust system. I have knock off's of the Corsa tips and the welds did break. My neighbors MIG fixed it but I'm not sure for how long.
Can't imagine not having some type of aftermarlet tip though. Stock tips are so wimpy.

you can get the Corsa tips separate from the entire system at www.afterthoughtsauto.com - look in the firebird exterior section
