Default Predator Programming Questions

Hello,

I just bought a Predator programmer and I wanted to know if anyone had some experience with some good tweaks for a bone stock vette. I ordered the 180 thermostat and will be installing that also. Thanks for any help.

The performance tune that the unit has in it will set you up nice. If your car is an A4 you will see a huge improvement. As for the fan, these settings are what was recommended to me
Fan 1
On 184
Off 175

Fan 2
On 194
Off 185

i have mn6, but it is 2004...i have LT headers with exhaust & intake mod...after header install, i noticed hotter temperature & smell...someone said headers tend to run the car on rich side....so, i decided to play with predator...for fan setting, my fan comes on at 172 & 170, and for air / fuel mix, i made it 12% leaner....diablo told me 10% adjustment pretty much equals to 1 point in air / fuel mixture....so far, the car runs pretty good with a lot less smell....i never touched timing, which i know nothing about, virtually...

I have an '03 AE MN6 with Vortex Ram Air, Corsa Indys and a 160 thermostat. I vary the fan settings depending on what time of year it is and where I am. When running at Bragg-Smith in September when it is over 100, I set them low so my oil temp stays around 240. I also have the OE Z06 tires and have modified the tire size via the Predator.

I hate to tell you but that predator won't work on your 98.
They don't make them for 97-98, just 99 on up.
