BSM Tape removal
U got a set of BSMs from a forum member here, Thanks again.
I need to get the sticky tape off the moldings. I have tried Goo B Gone and WD40.
Anything else? That will just make this stuff come off easy without hurting the BSM.
Thanks

I'd like to know also what else to use. Is the lamp oil just plain old kerosene from the gas station?
Also, what about 3M adhesive remover I've read about?
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, it is just plain old kero. For 99 cents the stuff came right off.

I used 3M adhesive remover to get the risidual tape off the doors when I removed my BSMs. It works well, won't harm the paint. BTW, even though it "works well", it's still a PITA to get the stuff off.

I used 3 M adhesive remover and get ready for some thumb blisters rolling it off but it does work and well.
Good Luck

Try tar and bug removal. It works well and dosent mess up the paint.

No paint issues with the kero? Sounds like a good tip since the 3M stuff is so expensive. Was this the tiki torch type lamp oil, or something different?
