Hey guys,
Has anyone had any experience with Michelin XGT Z4's on our C5's? The XGT's are listed as an "ultra high performance all season" directional tire - not V groove though and score half a star below the Pilot sport AS tires (all from tirerack.com).
I'm looking for a tire that will stay quiet, last a while and provide ok performance - soft enough for fun street driving. I know long lasting tires and good traction aren't a possibility, but I hope to find an in-between tire. Any input guys? Thanks for your attention!

Since you seem to be leaning toward Michelin, may I ask why you are considering the XGT-Z4s over the PS A/S? They both come in stock sizes, but the Pilot Sport A/S are specifically designed to be better for all of your stated criteria.
i am running these on my backs right now.
only thing i can compare them to is my kumho MX's i had on before them.
THey are quieter than the MX's and stick about 90% as well.
yert still have a solid feel to them.
depending on your budget, size and use you are looking for i can recommend the kumho ASX for all weather and they alot more affordable.
if these will be a year round tire go with the Michelins..
Michelin is the Best tire out there...Bar none
So Jdgun you have the XGT's on the rear right now or the pilot sport AS 's ? I would go with the pilot sports A/S but they are much more expensive and they are also V groove. Owner reviews frequently say that they get noisy over time - I really want a quiet tire. After seeing how the michelins work on so many cars (I work as a technician for volvo) the XGT's tread pattern looks very promising. Another thing to consider here is that my car will be driven all year except for the snow/ salt/ sand season. So, I may want to look at summer tires as well....
