Need Help!!!
Hey guys...I just had my differential replaced around 400 miles ago, switched over to 4.10's on an M6 Corvette...Well lately I have been driving the car more aggressively (no power/hard shifts or hard launches, but taking the rpms up) since the installer said 400 miles was a good break in for the unit...Today I took her to around 4500 rpm's in order to merge into traffic and my display went crazy, started saying "service active handling", and I immediately heard a high pitched whine coming from the rear of the car...The whine has not gone away, and is present in gears 3-6 when under any sort of load at all...When I let off the gas, the noise goes away...Any suggestions about the problem?? I can't get in touch with anybody because it is Christmas Eve and the shops are all closed, so I have no idea what to think about all this...Thanks in advance for any help...
