Going for a tune next week, it was suggested that I decarbon the car. It's an 02 with 16k miles. It has had about 1500 miles on it since headers and off road x was installed. Let me know. Thanks.

Run some Techron cleaner through it for the next week or so. If you want to decarbon it, there's a good writeup on how to do it in the Tech Tips.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

You guys in Texas don't have to deal with cold snowy wet winters like us northern boys. Running some Techron might be hard to do, especially, since the car hasn't even been out of the garage for alsmost 2 months!!Another
I saw the Tech tip, nice write up and looks easy enough to do. Any other thoughts??

It's a good idea to, run some seafoam through it. Decarbing it help tuning it to the limit. My car knocked bad with only 5000 miles, after decarb no kR.
