Default **pics** RevXtreme custom drag pack wheels

I just bought these from Dino at RevXtreme. These things kick sooooo much ***. They are the best compromise between drag and street. As you can see they have plenty of beef to be a street wheel. But they are light as a feather. 13.8 lbs for the front wheel and 16.8 for the rear wheels. Size is 16x5.5 front and 16x10 rear. I got them or a good RX member deal. Check with Dino for pricing. You can get them to fit any car in any backspacing for any size. These where originally made for Vette but I jusy need a spacer for the rears for my SS. I cant wait to put them on. Beats my old Weld draglites for sure.

BTW guys..these were around $1450 or so. I dont know the exact cost because I worked out a deal with some other stuff too. Contact Rev Extreme if you want a price. They have different styles as well.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think you'll be getting those 16" wheels on a C5.

He is putting them on an SS not a vette. I dont think they would work for a vette tho like you said.

We use this size all the time for drag racing. They sure do fit.

How do they compare in weight to the CCW's?
Do you know if RevXtreme sells a package with tires?
RevXtreme's website is down?

I don't remember at the moment who the MFG. is however, they are comparable in weight to the CCW's. I'm pretty sure RevX said they were doing full packages. RevX had a post about 3 weeks ago on these. Can't find it do to the fantastic search feature we have.

I called them today and they do make C5 offsets. So they will fit on our cars.

These wheels in the pics were originally spec'ed out for a C5. They were test fitted...they do fit C5 with stock brakes and should require no modification.

I will need to use a spacer for them to fit my 28x12.5 ET streets on the SS.

Those wheels look to be made by Kodiak, semi-popular roadrace wheels, yes they are very light. Question is do they clear the rear upper ball joint ????? CCW's do , but just barely

Thanks for the kick, they are in fact made by Kodiak CCW's require you to tap the ball joint cap slightly, I don't know if the same is true with these.

I've also had 16" CCWs on my car (still have to slightly modify the ball joints). I was referring to those specific wheels as I did not realize they were making the correct offsets for C5s. Cool!

Those are kodiaks, and they will require the ball joint caps 'tapped' down, but that should be all. No grinding on the knuckle itself with the ones I have (16x12's). From kodiak, they are also available with many different center designs.

The website is back up. I just mailed them. It would be nice to have another source for drag packages.
