Default Just lowered my car

I took the front down as far as it would go, and i used longer bolts on the rear. The rear is much lower than the front, I know i can adjust it, but it looks so good I really dont want to. Is there anyway of lowering the front more, or when the bushing bottms out on the spring is that it?

Cutting the front bushings will get the front down more.

i used a saw zaw with a long blade to cut the bushings, i was careful , but it is easy to do without taking the bolts off the car. i went threw the same thing you did the back went way down the front only went down a little, so i cut the bushings and it made a world of difference, you could tell that the front was just a little lower than the back, just the way i like it

Put a couple miles on the Vette and let it settle. The front may be lower than you think.

The rear of the car is really low, the wheels are just about in the fender well. Do you think that just by driving it the front will go down that far.

I don't think you are going to be satified with the front by the way you like the rear. I cut the front bushings and put longer bolts in the rear. I love the rear but I still wish the front would come down more. I have put 500 miles on it so at this point I am going to have to get it aligned. Good luck

Did you replace the shocks???If you are that low in the rear and didn't replace the shocks it's going to ride like crap!!!! I had mine that low in the rear when I first started out doing stuff to my car and what a mistake it was.I had it so low it was riding on the bump stops and the tires were acting like the shocks!!! Ended up wearing out the tires due to it.Sounds like BS,but they wore like overinflation ,but were never overinflated!!! So I would relly get new shocks and maybe lift the rear a lil and cut the front bushings out if you want to get the front down more. The pics in my sig are with the front bolt removed ,but only went down another 1/4-3/8 ".Not worth the time and noise if you ask me.I ordering oilovers in 2 weeks(B-day present to myself)will get it down really low then.Good luck!!

I would wait to see what happens. Mine was in the garage for a few weeks took it out this weekend and it is lower than when I put it in there. I lowered the car in August...

The car is lower now than this pic on stock bolts
