I am currently working on swapping the door switch bulbs with colored LEDs in my 2001 vert and I would like to know what would go into changing the bulbs in the Delco/Bose head unit and A/C control unit. I would just guess it takes good soldering skills but any information would help.

Same basic principle. You just need to get the right resistors to drop the current down to the right voltage. If ou don't the LED's will be bright but, they'll burn out extremely fast. LED's are 2.3V right? You need to get a resistor to drop the current coming into the bulb down to 2.3V before it hits the LED. HTH, Andy

Do a search on LS1TECH in the audio section. Someone had a good post about this.
