Default Endlinks for swaybars

Hey guys, I bought the Z06 sway bars for my '04 vert. The parts guy is good friends with me and gave me wholesale. He checked around with some techs and said I only need the rubber mount isolator things (not sure of the name). He told me I didn't need new endlinks, so I only bought the 2 bars and four isolators, is this correct? Do I need anything else? Thanks in advance...

Not tech related at all, but have you thought about having the rear bar powdercoated? A splash of red can look cool under there.

I was indifferent about the look when I put the red-powdercoated BMR sway bars on, but it looks neat, and even non-Corvette car guys instantly recognize the difference.

So you guys are saying you don't need new end links when you switch to ZO6 sway bars from stock ones?

If you have the metal links, you're good to go. Might be okay with the fiberglass links too, but I'd replace them.

I switched out the plastic links with metal ones. I could see were the plastic ones were deformed a bit from stress and wanted the slightly stiffest ride the metal links provided. On my model year the metal links also had a "wrench assist" that made the installation and torque down easier.
