the hell with this if the new poly bushings dont come with new inner shells, i been messin with just one stock bushing for an hour just to try to get the rubber off the metal tube. any ideas?

I am in the middle of it as well and it is the pits. Had that old ones pressed out and have been hacking on the old hardware for a few hours. Never again. Used a hack saw. Cut aound the circumference then ground the rest off with bench gringer.
