I got the paint the flex additive and hardner and reducer,I sanded the panels smooth already how many coats of paint should I apply and should I wet sand between coats? thanks
You've already gotten some good advice on the paint.
The only thing I would add is to wash the panels with some TSP (TriSodium Phosphate). TSP is available at most hardware stores and it will clean off any residual oils and mold release agents that can mess up your paint job.
When I did ours, I also put a little extra clear coat on them (one extra coat). Then I wet-sanded with 2,000 grit paper and buffed to a high gloss.
If you are using a base coat / clear coat paint system, many manufacturers will tell you NOT to sand the color coats, only the clear. Check on the labels or product information sheets for the paint you are using. Good luck!
I did zero sanding. The primer is the most important. Have to get the color to stick to something. I used Krylon red primer, 4oz of GM paint #12345142 (sebring silver) and Krylon Crystal Clearcoat
