Default Synthetic Oil Question
i am considering going to Mobil1 in my Blazer. do i have to do anything special changing over from petroleum based oil to synthetic?

Yep, you can mix them with no problems.

A While back in some seminars I have attended it was mentioned that on a higher mileage engine that has used dyno oil, after switching you may have oil leaks... I really don't believe this and if you do have a leak shortly after the switch it probably needed to be fixed anyway and was only band aided by sludge build up.

These new oils keep getting better and better..
