key fob????
hi all i bought my frist vette in july , it is a 98 coupe with 6 speed, when i bought it i only have one key fob ,it worked fine, now when ever i let the car set for a day i have to push both buttons to get it to work, and also some times after i do that it gos into the pasive mode no mater how i have the switch set, any advice is welcome, thanks in advance

Usually, when you've changed the battery and it won't stay programmed and in your case the passive switch is malfunctioning it's time to buy a new one. Since you only have one remote it would be a good idea to get another one to have for backup and it would also let you know if the non-working remote is the problem or something else.
