Just got my 2002 C5 in Dec. Black on black with black glass roof, 1SC, MN6, FE1, QF5. All stock, one owner car with 21,320 miles. Sold my 85 which I had since new. Thought I wouldn't ever sell it but!!! Now I know what all the fuss is about the C5 wow!!!
Anyhow here's my problem. When the drivers side headlight closes it sounds like the motor keeps running for a short while before shutting off. Just started doing this this moring. Is this something that can be fixed easily or does it require a trip to the mechanic.
Go Here and contact Rodney for a great brass gear and epoxy with instructions on how to fix your stripped out gear.Works great, did mine in a hour. www.rodneydickman.com
ok so we both directed you to Rodney the only thing about the pictures in the long thread posted above is you dont have to remove the hole headlight assembly, just the motor. three screws. Take a good look at the way the linkage is positioned its kinda trickey getting it back on.
