Step by step T56 rebuild instructions
....Unfortunately I didnt find this until AFTER I did my rebuild of my tranny, but I was OK with it.

Note this is for an F body, some things are different. For example, I didnt need to use large gear pullers for ANYTHING although I spent $15 to rent them. The output shaft on our car is not splined all the way down like it is on the F body.
