I believe DTE is the only company that makes that product. I have one and say it is worth it all the way.

DTE of course.

I know RPM makes one but it's like half of the DTE brace.

Not quite. I had RPM's brace on my car for over a year before DTE even introduced theirs.

I know RPM makes one but it's like half of the DTE brace.
Physically, I agree. Functionally, though, DTE's brace is over-engineered - in my opinion. I base that on two facts:
1. I have well over 150 launches between 4500 and 6500 RPM on drag radials and ET Streets. No catastrophic breakage to-date.
2. All other RPM cars running this piece have similar success.

And the fact that there are physically fewer parts to it means it's lighter (I believe it's less than HALF the weight of the DTE piece - 12 lbs vs. 26 lbs. [per DTE's site].)

The RPM brace reinforces only where needed and that allows it to do its job with fewer parts.

For the record, I have a 463 RWHP head/cam 'vert with 4.10s and it sees ~80-100 hard (track) launches a year.

The website is outdated and the revisions in place for both the M6 and A4 versions make them both lighter w/out sacrificing strength.

M6- 21.4 lbs.
A4- 19.8 lbs.

I should add that DTE does offer an A4 model - RPM does not currently do so.
