Default C5-R lights to dim

This is what it is... the Speckter werks C5-R headlight performance. What is up with it really? The stock ones look like they are actually lighting up stuff and the new ones look in one direction and not as far why is this? does anyone know the problem or do i just need HID's? or what cause i dont want flip lights any more but if i sell em and switch to HID i think i might consider it. need info.

If you do...let me know if you want to sell the SW C5-R lights. I just want them for show anyways.

Try the sylavania Brightstars. That should help alot. The lense cover cuts down on the light source plus we are only able to sell the projectors with the factory OEM halogen wattage.

Good luck

Thanks Jeff!

Do you mean Silverstars - they are halogens?? I can't find Brightstars on Sylvania's site?

Is there any reason I should NOT try the 9005 Silverstars as low beams? 9005 are 65 W and 9006 are 55 W. If the low beams are directed properly it may work??

Read the C5 General Sticky. There is little, to NO, benefit by staying with halogen bulbs. Halogen and HID bulbs get dimmer and yellower over time, so of course replacing them will make the new bulbs appear brighter!
