Default Harness Bar Question

I want to install a Brey-Krause or Hardbar in my '03 Z06.

I do not want to modify the seats, so the shoulder harness will go around the headrest some what. Will be using a sternum strap too.

Question: Anyone notice ugly wear and tear on the stock seats after use?

Thanks

This is the way I route my belts on my car because of my height. I use my belts probably about a dozen days a year for the past 2 years. I haven't noticed any wear on my seats.

I'm using the Brey-Krause bar. I like the fact that it is well braced and it has "keeper" loops for the should belts to keep them in place.

I'm leaning toward that system as well.

Thanks for your views .

Take a look at the RD Racing bar. I am 6' 3" and it was the only bar I found that would let the seat go all the way back and also lounge back. Take a look at the pictures and you will see the offset engineered in to do it. I instructed at Gingerman so I got to see most everything.

I just sold my Hardbar and bought the BK bar b/c of my height 6'4" and I got tired of taking the Hardbar in/out. The BK bar is offset and allows full seat operation.
