Default Clear Tail light question

Okay i got the Euro Clear tail lights installed for quite some time now... I had a shop install them for me as they painted my car as well. My question is why do all of the lights turn on even the Euro yellow ones that are just supposed to be turn signals. I just want to the red to show up because i get nervous around the man that might feel like a jerk and want to give me a citation for something like that. THanks for the info.

Did you clip the white wire under the knee bolster on the drivers side??? If not, then you are gonna have to do that.

There is a wire under the dash that needs to be cut when installing the euro taillights. This effectively seperates the turn signals from the brakelight circuit.

If not done, all lights will light up when using the brakes, as you are experiencing.

Remove the panel under the dash (over the pedal area), and follow the brake pedal up. You will see a wiring connector with 3 wires.coming off the brake pedal switch You need to cut the white wire. Just snip it and tape the ends off.

If you ever remove the euro's in the future, you will need to splice this wire back together, so cut in where it will allow you to strip the wire ends and easily splice it back together in the future if needed....ie: don't cut it at right at the connector.

I just installed euros last night, at first they worked great but then I lost my tail lights and brake lights (yikes!) and when I would step on the brake the dash lights would illuminate and the fogs would turn on. Not only that when I went to set the alarm it would go off. I think it was a bad ground, I replugged the harnesses in and then the problem went away... for now hopefully this wont be an issue.
