When I had my 98 cp I put the 2002 ZO6 front and rear sway bars on my base suspention car. I got the setup from Fichtner here on the forum. It comes with metal end links, stock ones are plastic, and new rubber sway bar gromets. Every thing you need. It made a wonderful difference with flatter, more controlled cornering and much better steering feel. The ride stayed good as before because I did not change shocks. Now I have a 04Z and I would recommend you put 04Z shocks on your car with the sway bars. Very good mod. Good Luck, Skip
Is there any difference? I have a '98, can I install '99 Z51's? What other pieces do I need? Thanks.
Yes, there's a difference. The '99 Z51 front and rear bars are
slightly smaller than the Z06 front and rear bars (the '00+ Z51
rear bar is the same as the Z06 rear bar). You'll need the matching
bushings (insulators) for the bars you decide to use. You should also
upgrade the cheap plastic end links.
You can install the '99 Z51s but, as others have recommended, I'd go
with the Z06 bars and the '02+ aluminum end links.
