Your local shop are a bunch of idiots telling you that....wonder why they didnt recomend cherry bombs! You have a corvette, not a 74 chevy truck, go with a good catback and leave the bubba work for bubbas.
Borla Stingers will get the most vote, but B&B PRT's or bullets, GHL, Corsa's are amongst the most popular

what kind of sound are you looking for???? Exotic-like, deeper, or pure throwback muscle?
corsa indys for exotic
stingers for a deeper rumble
bullets for the deepest musclecar sound

Have GHL Bullets, love em but it's an individual choice. Go to Corvette meet/club, listen to a few. Here's a GHL Bullet soundclip to get ya started but you really should listen in person. Hypocritical coming from me cuz I couldn't find any GHL's to hear before I bought but it's all good.

Get yourself a good catback and you wont turn back. I went from stock to GHLs and what a difference. I have heard others and they all sound great so it is a matter of preference and $$$$ you want to spend.
try a search on exhaust in the forum and you should find some good stuff.

Do research on the CF and web, but go and listen to some choices BEFORE you purchase. Everyone has their preference.
