Default APSIS Splitter and Side Skirt Install

I recently purchased an APSIS carbon fiber splitter and side skirts. The quality of the parts was awesome and required no custom work to get them to fit right. I was impressed. Thank you APSIS for the quality product. Installation was simple and straight forward, very easy. I think the pieces give the Z a nice update in the looks department.

I took a picture with the side air dam's on so that you can see what kind of clearance this splitter actually provides. I was worried about ripping it off until I saw just how much clearance their actually is. It looks like only a parking bumper will take it out.

Looks killer, throw up some more pics of the side skirt fitment, bumper looks tight! Will this splitter cause overheating problems?

Looks good. I see them on the website but when I go to the shopping area they aren't listed. Did you call to.buy them? How much were they?

There is no risk of overheating as the splitter doesn't cover up the center air dam like some other designs.

You can PM Apsisusa on the forum for pricing and lead time. He quoted me about 4 weeks when I placed my order and I got it in about 4 weeks!

Hey that looks really great! Do they have an option for primed and ready to paint?

looks real clean... how do the skirts look at the back side where they meet the rocker panel?... it's hard to tell in the pics but it looks like they just stick straight out, I like how they are rounded and contour to the fender at the front

They definitely stick straight out, because they are made to replicate the ZR1 skirts. I don't think the OP installed the spats that mount in front of the rear wheel opening and mate with the skirt. Personally, I prefer this spat-less look, as it reminds of the rocker extensions on other exotic cars...

Looks great. I wonder how the nice gloss and CF will hold up over time though.

I would coat the underside with something tough, like bedliner spray. And would definitely wrap the top side in clear bra.

you're right, after looking at apsis' site it does appear that the op left the rear pieces off... do the skirts now have exposed predrilled holes at the rear side where those pieces attach?... if the op has pics of those pieces installed I would be interested in that as well, curious how it looks on a red car

Here you go. The fender pieces would attach to the inner rear fender and mount flush with the skirt. APSIS did a good job designing the pieces to accommodate either person's taste. I was not sure if I'd like the fender pieces so I did not order them. There's no visible holes on the skirt, that would look awful. The skirt and splitter both attach with screws. I didn't take a picture of it, but theres another 3" or so on the skirt underneath the car that allows you to attach it to the car from the bottom.

I like it, thanks for all the pics... I didn't know you could order those fender pieces separately, I thought they came as a set with the skirts... I still would like to see them on a red car to get a better idea but if I ordered those skirts I would probably get the fender pieces as well just in case

They look really good. I would probably tear them up though since my car is lowered.

I don't think they don't hang down very far. They pretty much stick straight out.
