Valve spring replacement - has anyone used the FelPro SS71039 Valve Stem Seals?
It says direct replacement for factory and both Summit and Amazon state it fits a 2002 Z06, but just curious if anyone has personally used them and if they are a direct replacement for factory seals.
They are less than half the cost of OEM seals and FelPro is a trusted brand, so trying to make the smart choice here.

Im about to do the same thing. I've already purchased the "blue" springs and was wondering about the Fel Pro seals as well. My Z only has 17k miles, but those rubber valve seals are now almost 16 years old, so replacement just seems smart.

Resurrecting this thread because I‘m wondering the same thing. Has anyone used these? I have a set on my bench and they are not like the factory pieces. I don‘t think these were intended for an LS7 despite all websites confirming fitment.
These felpros have an integral washer where the spring would sit on, but i feel the diameter is too small. Also, the washer construction would change spring pressure. Im afraid that these were $20 wasted, can anyone confirm?
thx, J

I have used the LPE tool twice tongood success. There are similar clones out there now which cost less.

I put the fel-pro ones in my car last year when I did springs. I havent had any issues but I also have not dropped the pan to check. No smoking or anything. Mine sees over 7000rpm regularly though.
