The 1,304 number for Precision Red has been widely acknowledged since my original report that I made at the end of the PR build.
I have found "Another Yellow" to be extremely knowledgeable and correct on many C6 topics.

Dave, I hope not this time. Nothing wrong with double verification using a second independent source. And Yellow, it is a three part question, Coupes, Verts, and Exports. Can your source(s) fill in this one. Thanks, I'm not questioning you personally. This is such an important (just kidding) issue!!

Was there any reason why it was discontinued?

Thanks for the info. Interesting that Black is currently the most popular. Black is the hardest and Silver (in my opinion) the easiest to keep clean!

A friend of mine is picking up a Precision Red coupe in Atlanta today. He called a friend of mine at Bowling Green and asked why Precision Red was discontinued. He was told it was because it was to close in color to the Mag Red Metallic.

It was 1,274 coupes and 30 verts making up the total of 1,304 so that would mean no exports.
