Hello all!!!
Well, I'm sort of a newbie, sort of not. About a year ago I was fairly active in C5 General. I sold my C5 last April (it was my daily driver, and I needed something more practical), I have been away from the forums since that time. Well, I couldn't resist forever, but when I tried to come back, the look of the forums changed, and my membership had been removed (lack of use I suppose).
I am completely in love with the C6 and look to get in one in a few years. My first priorities are marriage and a house, so until those happen, the Vette will be on hold. Instead of driving the ultimate machine, I currently drive an 04 Z71 Silverado. It can be quite fun to drive, especially offroad, but it's no Vette, which saddens me quite often. Anyways, I look forward to reestablishing myself here and making a few friends in the mean time.

I too am new here...although I lurked for years off and on.
I have a C6 vert inbound TPW 2-7. and the info and entertainment here is better than TV.
And I also have had several Z71 Chevy and GMC trucks..they are the BOMB. Currently my daily driver...04 tahoe Z71 loaded, sweet ride.
Good luck on that marriage, etc.
Keep working, saving, investing and you'll have it all...Z71 truck, Z51 vette, wife, house.....

I have a supportive wife...married 15 years...
Three vetts (3rd being inbound C6 vert), 4 Harleys, 5 boats, and more trucks/suv's than i can remember.
Work hard and INVEST in real estate, provide for your family, and there will be plenty of funds available for man toys.
