Allocation Successful!
I'm so happy, my C6 order is getting placed. 
I've been waiting patiently
since December 6th for things to happen and now they are. My dealer was willing to try and "scoop" an order for me with the items that were on constraint, but it did not work. Oh, well.
I had to settle for F55 and standard wheels. No biggie to me as I think the F55 suspension and the ability to change the ride settings in going to be a real hoot.
Hearing all of the negative reports on the polished wheels It's probably best they didn't come through. Looks I'll try and do some research on exchanging them with chrome wheels as soon as the car comes in.
I never dreamed I would get so excited over an allocation.

This forum has been a wealth of information. I would have never dreamed that, in this day and age, that ordering a Corvette would be so challenging.
It's almost like trying to order a Harley Davidson Motorcycle back in the 1980's. Get in line and wait(at one point 18 months).

Don't think you had to settle! I had the F55 on my 50th. It really rides like a Limo and still turns like a slot car.

If the F55 was on constraint like the Z51, I'd still have no hesitation in ordering the car with the basic set up.
