important opinion needed

They were not the only dealer who offered to order me what I wanted, so I would say any dealer with a decent allotment can order you a car and have it in a month or so. I'd probably head up to Kerbeck if you're close enough to consider gambling in Atlantic City over Las Vegas.
I bought mine at Cormier Chevy near Long Beach, CA. They said if I wanted to order one that it would not have been a problem as they do it all the time (saw their order board, they had about 8+ listed when I bought mine several weeks ago). Just the waiting period is all I would have had to deal with (about 3 months).
These guys do have some clout with Chevy as they're the #1 Vette dealership in California (it's their speciality). They have one of the largest allotments of Corvette's because they move them like crazy (sell at least 1 - 2 a day). They actually buy up Vette's across the country and lose money from paying the extra shipping charge to keep their allotment high and to meet the demand. Hence they get a bunch from Chevy and special orders aren't a problem for them.
I asked them and they said they could deliver a car nationwide (a friend in Dallas was interested and having problems finding one there), so check out their inventory on chevy's website and call them if you're interested (ask for Mark Deen and tell him Benson says hi
. If do a vehicle locate search on Chevy's web site, enter 90245 as the zip and Cormier Chevy should show up on the first page. Current inventory as of this writing shows 27 C6s in stock
