Black Floor Mats
I will be getting a LMB with Cashmere shortly and was wondering if anyone has purchased black floormats for their C6? Seems like cashmere floormats are a bad idea!!--e
Well, the way I look at it is that they are floor mats. That's why we get them instead of just using the carpet that's on the floor. So we can get them dirty and stained, and just replace them with new ones.
For the record, I also have an LMB with Cashmere on order (you tasteful bastard) and am ordering the Lloyds Cashmere mats. If they get so dirty I can't clean them any more, I plan on just ordering a new set.
Hey, black shows dirt too. I got the Lloyd Mats in Cashmere and they look really nice. Even had a black edge put on. If they get too dirty, I'll just buy another set. Got them at Parts For Your Car.

Black floor mats
Thanks to all for your responses. May as well just keep asking dumb questions until Saturday the 12th when I pick up that beauty. Weirdess thing, I've never driven a Vette of any type. Since the only ones that I have sat in are in dealers showrooms, haven't even heard one. This should be good. Did get the MN6, what the heck is that thing sticking up in the console, with those numbers on it??

If you ARE serious, I sure would like to sitting in the passengers seat when you drive her off the lot...................but I hope you're joking.................

Yes, with my postings you can pretty much assume all of the time that I am joking. Been driving sticks since 1966, but never a six speed. Guess I can remember when 4 speeds were weird, then 5 speeds and now this. That 6 thing really confuses me--e

Just stay under 100 and you won't need 5th & 6th gear.
Have Magred with cashmere. I like a consistant color scheme and opted for cashmer mats. Also having cashmere in Mercedes and know how they can get dirty (minnesota winters). I also got some 303 sealant to spray them with my new mats. If the 303 lives up to it's claims I hope to get twice the life out of my Lloyds.
You could also go to wal-mart to buy these floor mats that cost 3-4 bucks, there clear and I put those on top of my regular mats. when they get stained, throw them away and buy another set. I kept my floormats like new on my 350z for over a year. would have sworn they were brand new right out of the box.

I have all black Cocomats with my black interior. All black w/Cas way be too much. Cocomats.com has some nice color variations that may better suite your interior. Blk w/beige flecks, brown w/beige flecks, and about 12 others. The mats are 3x the thickness of OEM mats. Have a solid rubber nubbed backing and just shake clean. Custom made and fit well. I love mine.
