After having a VR on order for six months and vehicle never getting past 1100, finally got lucky checking chevy.com daily. Have checked daily in 10 states around Georgia, low and behold found a triple black vert, 6spd,1sb,z51,nav,polished wheels, onstar,xm. Best thing was the dealership was less than 10 miles from home, found it this morning and took the 03 torch red vert down and made a deal. The C5 is a great car have loved all 4 of them I have had. The C6 so far seems like a awesome car!!! It's amazing that at 47 years old you can still get so excited just like a little kid with a new toy. I've rambled enough for tonite, after driving more will give more observations. Can't post pictures don't have digital camera, even if I did wouldn't know how!!! See ya!
Congrats on the new ride if it was only 10 miles it must have been Days Chev. I know your feeling I'm 61 and can't wait to drive it each day it's my only ride.
Boozman you are correct, Days it was. Wish I could drive mine every day, but it is 56 miles to work. Just couldn't put 112 miles a day on my baby, since it would be 75 and 285 and hwy 78. Hope to see you out cruising sometime.

My cheeks still hurt from smiling! Everybody's reving me, everyone wants to race, even Tacoma 4X4s want to show me up Congrats on your ride, ENJOY!
Coming back from Home depot I do a quick run through the gears (only have 84 mi, so I've got to be easy) for the lovely Bobbie's benefit and then bring it back to speed limit. I look in my rear view mirror and see this tricked Altima (like the lovely Bobbies's car) doing like 90+ to catch me. I think great, someone wants to challenge. They come right up on my ***, full hard braking and pull along side. Two guys in wool caps are all thumbs up and mouthing F-ya to me. Too cool. They followed me for like a half mile, just checking the car. The lovely Bobbie was truly impressed and I was stoked as well.
