Default Static electricity and paint

I remember reading about eliminating static electricity after washing the car somehwere here on the forum. Does anybody have the link for that.

Pollen is driving me crazy after washing and Zaino treatment.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I'm conviced the car is electrostatically charged. When I was wiping off the dust on the rear bumper to put on the SS inserts, dust was literally jumping on to the spots I just wiped. I was beginning to feel like Curly in a Three Stooges plumbing episode, I'd wipe it off, back it came, wipe, back. When I used the rubbing alcohol for prep, it kept away for a few minutes. Wierd.

The static has nothing to due with the car -it's the million coats of wax we got on them-I bet it does not happen as much as your other car(s)-
My Vette has:
Maqnetic Red 11 paint
Magnetic ride control (F55)
And
Magnetic Wax!!!

I use the California duster when I get dust on the car. The dust doesn't seem to come back for quite a while. I use Griot's best of show carnuba wax. About every 2-3 times washing the car I use Griot's speed shine. That seems to help keep the dust away also.
