Just got back from the dealer who identified 3 separate problems requiring new parts! I recently picked up my car - (Mn6, ride control)new from a private party in Fla - and drove across country. First issue came up outside Albuquerque where a "service ride control" message came on. Local dealer said it wouldnt hurt to keep driving so I finished my trip. A few days ago, the engine light came on - I took it to my closest dealer here who couldnt work on it immediately but thought it was probably from not tightening the gas cap last time i filled the tank. I was also having intermittent problems with the manual hatch opening - I assumed it was not sensing the fob. Anyway, the dealer today said:
-the engine light was a faulty oxygen sensor
-the ride control message was due to a faulty shock, and
-the rear hatch switch needed to be replaced
The parts will take a few days to come in so he gave me my car back to use in the meantime. I hadnt seen these issues on this forum - anyone else had similar problems? Car has about 3400 miles on it now.

Reason: add mileage
I live in Hillcrest and took it over to courtesy chevrolet as that is the closest. I thought about taking it to Bob Stall as he does more vettes but opted for convenience. We'll see how they do.
Our C6 same problem, 1100 miles check engine light comes on. They keep it 3 days and replace the module. 2300 miles check engine light comes on again, back to the shop. It has been there 4 days and there not sure whats causing the problem. Tomorrow I can let them know about the oxygen sensor. Thanks for the info. Besides that this car is BAD.
I bought my silver C6 at Bob Stall and will take it there for service even though Bob Baker is closer to my house in Santee.
Sounds like most of your issues are gonna be routine fixes.
It must have been a blast driving back from Florida! See ya around town.
