Getting excited
At my age (62+) and having owned almost fifty cars, I should not be getting as excited as I am over our new (and first) vette, but I am. Even my wife feels somewhat the same and she is definately not a car person. Well the wait is almost over. Sunday it is off to Bowling Green for a Monday delivery and then a nice drive home.
I just can't say enough concerning the help Gary Cockriel, Museum Delivery Manager, and Kevin Torrance, Corvette factory rep, have been throughout this long order process. They are outstanding people that go 'the extra mile" to service buyers. Likewise the information I have absorbed form the many fine posts on this website has expanded my knowledge of the car. Thanks
The '05 is the first corvette that has really captured me since the "C2" and from the first picture published almost a year ago my wife knew I would be getting one. So Victory Red coupe with Z51, 1SB, XM radio and 6 speed here we come. Bottom line, we all get old but we don't have to grow up Cheers Jack
