From what I've read, Chevy did a pretty good job already on the intake system...and even then, $400 seems like a huge price to pay for some questionable benefits. I have a Blackwing on my C5 and am happy with it but I think that I got better results than will be had on a C6.
Remember, YMMV, but
At my dealer here, they installed a couple of these blackwings... When I bought mine (the car) they told me they were having to take them off (did not specify why) because it caused a problem with the cars....

ttomczak..........Thanks for the "heads up." For $400.00, the intake had better damn well work. If you (or anybody else) finds out what the problem is with the Blackwing, please post. (What does YMMV stand for?)

I've been following the initial intake offerings which is why I had the link to the Blackwing... but that won't be the one I buy. I'm going for the Callaway Honker that is due out in March. They've done a lot of testing and picked up 10-12 HP. Plus it's a very nice looking one piece unit.
I had a Blackwing air filter and a Z06 Ti exhaust on my C5 Coupe however I think I may stay pretty close to stock on my C6. Since the intake on the C6 is pretty much as good as it gets, I'll probably leave it as is and maybe just go with a pair of K&N's. And since the tips on the stock C6 exhaust look good, I'll probably stay with the stock exhaust too as aftermarket exhausts don't offer any significant HP gains. JMHO...

Your Mileage May Very, a easy was to say, "this worked or did not work for me, but thats all I can say"....
For what its worth, I just did the K&N's, but remember, YMMV (-:
The blackwing produced very good numbers on the C5, and I'm really curious about the increase on the C6 (verified by a dyno)
Dyno verification is questionable to me. The operator can influence the numbers easily IMHO. A truer test would be a number of 1/4 mile times performed on the same day, with and without the Blackwing.
