Car was delivered to the dealership this morning - got to see them take it off the truck. Silver Z51 Vert with black interier, black power top and polished wheels. It was pretty dirty - delivered in a snow storm - but still a really sharp looking car. They let me drive it into the prep shop, noticed the clutch feels alot different than my 2002, much softer. Will be picking it up early next week - if the roads are dry, I'll drive it otherwise, otherwise enclosed car carrier. It's been a long journey starting with July order, but now that I actually got to see one up close, DEFINATELY worth the wait!!!
Interesting observation by the Allied truck driver- they only load the convertibles onto the top of the transporters... They also use special hold down straps so the components are not damaged. He had seen about 20 convertibles come through Windsor so far. Most were black with was just one LeMans blue model. Silver is the perfect Corvette; with just the right options, lookin good! Enjoy!
