Default Hey Mods.........

We really work this guy Marvin major league...........he really must take a lot of time to keep looking up order numbers for us and I'm not sure what he gets back except a lot of thanks.........Is there something we could do for him? Maybe a sticky at the front of the forum thanking him on behalf of all of us...........kind of lame I quess but I really think we should do something.

I realize you addressed your post to the mods, but I think we all could thank Marvin by buying something from him. Spread your purchases around to all the forum sponsor dealers when you need some accessories. Obviously, buy a car from them, if possible.

Marvin's one of the good guys. We don't thank him enough. We've got some great sponsors.

I agree. Marvin has been always there with the continous updates.
He has published a list of the C6 accessories. I plan to purchase some from him. My way of saying thanks for keeping me uptodate for the last 6 weeks.

Why don't you all try doing something for him like you would one of your client's, customers or friends.

A few ideas:

1) Gift certificate at a restaurant around where he works (Shawnee Mission, Kansas). Can be ordered and delivered off of the web. His work address is in his profile.

2) Gift certficate at Best Buy, Home Depot, or another "guy" store where he could pick up a CD, movie or maybe a new power tool accessory. Probably can be ordered off of the web.

3) How about just a thank you card.

I practice what I preach and #1 was my choice with an Outback Certificate. The man doesn't sit around all day waiting to update everyone's orders who aren't his customers and I frankly get a bit embarrased when I see everyone hounding him relentlessly for an update.

Make it worth the man's while.

I plan on doing that...... he has a great selection of accessories for the C6! I still think a general public "thank you" or something from the forum would be a nice gesture.

I have never asked Marvin for anything since I bought my C6 from dealer inventory. I have been on disability since Sept 04 and had a lot of time monitoring this forum since I bought my C6. Marvin must be one heck of a guy. I would be willing to contribute some $ for a thanks. Given the number of forum memebers should be able to provide a nice thankyou,
