Default Exhaust question

I need some advice on exhaust. I do not like a loud exhaust but I would like a little more throatier sound than what we get on the stock exhaust. Also when cursing at 70mph I would like to have a normal conversation with out yelling. SOOOO is there such an exhaust that fits my expectations .Or should I just use a coffee can like the ricers J.K

I believe this topic was discussed yesterday and today in the C6 tech/performance section. You might look over there.

I'm very happy with the Corsa Sport, sounds like what you're looking for. I have them and am very pleased with them. You're best bet is to hear it first, way too subjective.

You know maybe I should but it is not that Technical .I know people here have had Experiences with different exhausts so it’s crazy to bounce back and forth on a question like this . But thanks for the info

Don't add Ricer Cans.

Your Vette will have too much HP to handle safely on public streets. Doesn't each 15"x 2 foot long can add like 150-200 HP?

Yup, and like 175- 225 RWT too! Wait, aren't most of the ricers FWD?, so why do they need so much RWT then?

Each to his own preference. I like the Corsa Sports. Quiet at crusing.

Just my thoughts. I've got the Bullet, w/o x-pipe. Concensus, from all these "experts" is that Bullet is the loudest. Fine, I love it.
So, anything other than the Bullet, should fit your requirement, for a throatier sound, than stock, but not the loudest.
p.s. - all the negative feedback about not being able to have
a conversation, with the Bullet. I find that Road Noise, with the windows open, is louder than the exhaust. Just an observation.
