I hope this is the right forum but...

I was wondering how you guys clean up the engine bay of the C6? What should I cover/avoid getting wet? Im coming from a Camaro so I just covered up the Computer and Air intake, let the engine cool and take Simple Green and a pressure washer to it. thanks

I would be careful with "Simple Green" in the engine bay. Several articles in aviation magizines have reported evidence of corrosion/ etching issues with "Simple Green" used to clean aircraft alum. parts.

I take it that you let your engine compartment get really greasy and dirty before you washed it?

With my '05 vette and my '02 vette, I just lightly sprayed water and chamoised it off after everyother wash. It never gets a chance to build up anything.
