Interior Trim Package
Does any know if the interior trim package for the C6 that some of the new car dealers are selling listed as "tech pattern" is the same pattern as around the door exit button. The kit is three parts as I understand it, the center console surround and the two pods that are stock silver color on either side of the gauges....

I'm not sure as have not seen a picture and it is also not available yet. The impression I have from GM is similar to yours for style. GM says it may be available later this spring.

From what I've seen it's more of a carbon fiber pattern. It didn't look like the same pattern that surrounds the door buttons etc. Supposedly the Genuine Corvette Accessories division will sell dash kits to match all exterior colors as well.

the pods are not separate...they are part of the center cluster trim. I know this for a fact because I took mine apart and painted them body color.

What's with this stupid trend of 'carbon fiber' stuff, when they really mean carbon fiber LOOK. Go sit in an Audi S4 with the carbon fiber trim to see what the real deal looks like.
I'd love a REAL CF trim package. (not an overlay either). If Audi can make them, why can't GM. God knows it would be expensive, but I'm ready.
