Has anyone had any trouble getting their deposit back on a C6 because the dealer has taken too long to order their Vette? This might be happening to me.
Scenario - - - - Deposit given on initial order and order not out the dealer's door due to constraints, allocation (blah, blah, blah)-- and you found a Vette you like elsewhere. I realize that orders take time but you all got me excited about ACTUALY TAKING DELIVERY (sorry for shouting) of a C6.
Not called the dealer yet so don't know if there is a problem- just want to know if other forum members have been in the same boat and the action you took.
Maxie price kept mine I won't order my 06 from them.
I would think that the only time that they might have a problem is if the car actually got ordered and they couldn't make any changes or cancel.
My dealer did not require a deposit from me, I buy a lot of cars and they know if I say I am going to do something they can bet their life on it. But I felt better about it. They told me it would be totally refundable if I wanted it.

I didn't put a deposit down either. They told me if I didn't want the car after it got there, no problem. Chads was a Vert they had ordered.
