The original thread is being cleaned up... apparently last night some jerk came in and posted things in there that were very offensive. Thankfully i was in bed and didn't see it.
It's been temporarily shut down for cleaning up... Grumpy's working on it. It'll be a sticky in OT as soon as it's done.
Isaac (no ordinary91) was killed by a drunk driver on the 27th of Jan. He left here at 12:30am and his vette broke down (fuel pump, he told us earlier that night that it was going out) and was sitting on the side of the highway waiting for his brother to come get him. Daniel Almanza came by in his Jeep and hit Isaac's vette. He was sitting in the driver's seat. We're told he died instantly.
I can't talk about this right now.. I'm sorry.. look in OT for the thread. It'll be sticky soon.
So sorry! Having just lost a close family member last May, I know that words can only go so far. The brick sounds very nice and I'm going right now to contribute...
I hope this thread stays here and stays open. I know it might technically be "OT" but there are a lot of people who would love to contribute who don't read OT (I'm one of them). I for one am proud to be a member of the Corvette family and already made my contribution for the brick in Isaac's name. I've never visited the National Corvette Museum but I plan to and when I do, I'll be looking for that brick in the plaza walkway!
If you want to contribute, it only takes maybe 30 seconds if you are already a PayPal member (and signing up is free even if you are not). Just go to https://www.paypal.com/ and click "Send Money" and send it to tigger4655@aol.com
Yes he does!! AND he made it sticky!! No more having to search for it to find out what the brick fund is for. Not that that's so much of a good thing.. I'd MUCH rather there NOT be a brick fund or the need for one... but under the circumstances...
From: After reading this thread, I gotta tell ya... you're an ass. .

It wouldn't suck to be able to place this at the CI. I'd really like for it to be placed at a time when you all were there so you could see where your donation went.
One more time, you guys are the greatest! Mom and I are VERY excited about how this is going so far... I can't even tell you.
